Marin County Builders™ was founded by Dan
Goodwin , a.k.a. Spiderman , the Skyscraperman. Dan's skills were
developed in Kennebunkport, Maine. His father built custom homes for the lobstermen
and fishermen. It was only natural that everything was built like a schooner.
Before leaving Maine, Dan mentored under the tutorship of Stacy Wentworth
, one of the forefathers' of Green Building. During 80's & 90's, Dan tailored
his skills building homes on the shores of Lake Tahoe, combining old-world
craftsmanship with new-world techniques and green materials.
Shortly after the millennium, Dan
founded Marin County Builders™ with the intention of creating
a company that would be one of the most prestigious "Green Builders"
in northern California.
Today, inspired by the likes of Frank Lloyd Wright, who designed the Marin
County Civic Center, Marin County Builders™ has achieved Diamond Certified
status with an impeccable client satisfaction rating, and has been awarded
the right to display the logo as a professional green builder by Build-it-Green.
